Wool and silk rugs are picked up at no charge, cleaned at our secured warehouse, dried under controlled conditions, and delivered back to the room they came from.
The work
A rug is not a floor. It is a textile.
Every rug that comes in is inspected and dye-tested before water touches it. Fiber, weave, backing, and prior repairs decide the method — not a standard package.
Oriental and specialty rugs are cleaned by hand throughout. Fringe, edges, and selvages are worked separately, and drying is controlled so the foundation stays true and the colors stay put.

We do not subcontract fine rug work. Cleaning happens at a facility we operate, with rugs logged in and out and stored under controlled conditions for the duration.

Rugs are collected from homes in Monterey, Carmel-by-the-Sea, and Pebble Beach, cleaned at our facility, and brought back to the room they came from. Pickup and delivery are free wherever we work, and that includes Salinas, Watsonville, and Santa Cruz. If you are not sure your address is covered, text a photo of the rug along with your town and we will tell you.
